About this policy

This policy describes how the current version of Palette Craft Studio handles information when you pick colors, create palettes and gradients, sample photos, compare colors, and export your work.

Data access and local storage

The app processes color values, palette and gradient names, swatches, gradient stop positions and direction, favorites, and color history. It saves your collections, favorites, history, preferred color format, and reduce-motion setting locally on your device. Color history stores up to 60 recent committed colors.

No account is required. The inspected application does not implement developer-operated data collection, cloud synchronization, advertising, analytics, tracking, or remote crash reporting. It does not request access to your contacts, location, microphone, or camera.

Photos

When you choose an image, Android's system content chooser provides access to the selected image. The app reads and decodes it on your device to display a preview and sample pixel colors. It does not request broad photo-library access or upload the image to the developer.

The selected image is held for the current app session rather than saved into the app's collection storage. Colors sampled from it may be saved in your history, favorites, or palettes when you use those features. The original image remains with its existing storage provider; the app does not delete it.

Purposes

The app uses this information to display and edit colors, generate harmonies, calculate contrast, build gradients, remember preferences, save your creative work, and prepare exports you request.

Copying, sharing, and third parties

Copy actions place the chosen color values, collection text, or gradient CSS on the system clipboard. Clipboard access and retention depend on your operating system and its settings.

Sharing occurs when you initiate an export and choose a recipient through Android's sharing interface. JSON exports include the collection name, colors, gradient positions, and angle. CSS exports contain the gradient definition. PNG exports contain a rendered palette or gradient. The app creates a temporary PNG in its cache and grants the selected receiving app permission to read it.

The receiving app or service handles shared information under its own privacy practices. Copies you share or save elsewhere are outside Palette Craft Studio's deletion controls.

The inspected dependencies include AndroidX, Jetpack Compose, and Kotlin libraries used to operate the interface and local features. No advertising, analytics, or other data-collection SDK was identified.

Android backup and network access

Android backup is enabled in the app configuration. Depending on your device and backup settings, Android may back up or restore app data through your configured backup service. That service's handling and retention are governed by its own settings and policies.

The Android manifest declares internet permission, but the inspected app features do not implement network requests or send your photos or saved collections to a developer server. There is no app-operated transfer for which an encryption-in-transit claim can be made. Transfers initiated through sharing, image providers, or operating-system backup depend on those services.

Security

Saved Android data uses the app's private preferences storage. PNG exports use app cache storage and a non-public file provider with temporary read permission for sharing. No additional app-level encryption of saved collections was identified. The app may write technical error details to device logs when an operation fails; no remote log-reporting service was identified.

These measures do not guarantee absolute security. Device access, operating-system protections, backup settings, and the apps you choose for sharing affect the protection of your information.

Retention and deletion

Saved palettes, gradients, favorites, and preferences remain locally until removed or the app's storage is cleared. History is limited to 60 colors and can also be cleared manually.

You can delete individual saved palettes and gradients, remove favorites, or clear color history. Settings includes “Clear all saved data,” which removes saved palettes, gradients, favorites, and history. This control does not reset the preferred color format or reduce-motion setting and does not expressly clear temporary export files. To remove all local app storage, use Android's app-storage controls. Android may also clear cached exports; the app specifies no fixed cache-retention period.

Deleting local data does not remove original photos, clipboard contents, exports held by other apps, or operating-system backups. Manage those copies through the relevant device, app, or backup controls.

For privacy questions or deletion requests, contact info@itservice.fun. The app has no account or developer-hosted collection database to delete remotely, so removing device-held data generally requires the local controls described above. No specific retention period for privacy correspondence is established by the available information.

Web preview

The browser preview stores saved collections and preferences in that browser's local storage and uses its clipboard for copying. Native photo sampling and PNG sharing are available on Android rather than in the preview. Browser-stored data remains until removed through the app's applicable deletion controls or by clearing the preview site's browser storage.

Children's privacy

No specific target age range has been established in the available app information. The inspected app does not implement accounts, age collection, advertising, or developer-operated collection of children's personal information. If you have a concern about a child's use of the app or information shared through it, contact info@itservice.fun.

Policy changes

This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the app's features or data handling. Review the policy associated with the version you use for current information.
